El Techo welcomes Washington to its 1100 square foot roof deck serving handcrafted cocktails and creative takes on Latin American cuisine, a concept from owner Louie Hankins designed to transport guests from D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood straight to a tropical vacation.
The bar program delivers a simple yet refined cocktail menu that blends flavors from Central and South America with the Caribbean. El Techo's food menu encompasses several Latin cuisines and features their signature tacos, authentic ceviches and creative takes on classic Latin American entrees. Committed to authenticity and the highest quality cuisine, El Techo utilizes house-made ingredients wherever possible.
El Techo's rooftop is available for full or partial buyouts. Both El Techo and sister restaurant Rito Loco's menus are available for private parties or El Techo will work with guests to create a custom party menu.
